Raising funds to help cancer patients who want hair replacement services, but cannot afford it.

We aim to be a leader in bringing the sense of normalcy during the period of time when there is hair loss, and to empower those affected to live their lives as normal as possible. The Crisman Foundation was founded by Tom and Midgi Crisman in 2010 to serve men, women and children coping with cancer and other life threatening diseases and to enrich the patient’s quality of life with a comfortable salon setting and relaxing experience. The Crisman Foundation will empower people by giving them back their hair and their confidence, so they can begin to rebuild their self-esteem.

The Crisman Foundation provides hair prosthesis and hair extensions to financially disadvantaged women and children suffering from medical hair loss from cancer and any other long term medical diagnosis. We aim to return a sense of self, confidence and normalcy to the client-patient suffering from hair loss by using the highest quality hair prosthetics to financially disadvantaged clients. The participants receive hair prostheses free of charge or on a sliding scale, based on financial need and to fill the financial void that may have occurred with the insurance coverage.
